Hey there, I’m Phoenix — but most people know me as Nix. I’ve always taken the road less traveled, and that path started with a beat-up Kodak Easy Share camera and a band practice in someone’s garage. That moment sparked a love for music and storytelling that’s stayed with me ever since.

By 16, I was interning at a local radio station, and from there, I dove headfirst into the music industry — concert photography, blogging, artist management, and even hosting shows. I spent over a decade living and breathing music, and in 2017, I was honored as runner-up for Behind the Scenes Person of the Year by Rock Rage Radio — just behind Shinedown’s legendary merch manager Jess Jasso.

Then COVID hit — and like many creatives, I lost almost everything: gear, gigs, and momentum. But that loss opened a new door. I found a home in the Esports and content creation community, quickly becoming a recognizable caster in the Rainbow 6 Siege scene, while also working in social media, admin roles, and tournament direction for multiple leagues.

Now, I’m weaving both worlds together — rediscovering my roots in music while continuing to create impactful content in gaming and beyond. Whether it’s behind a camera, a mic, or a screen, storytelling is still at the heart of everything I do.
